Takagashirakai Blogs Section now publically available

The Takagashirakai website now has a publically available blogs section. All registered users can now creater their own blog should they wish to, blog entries can also be embedded in individual Dojo websites to allow instructors to blog their thoughts and Dojo news items they may want to have appear there. Blogs are distinct from articles that appear on the website, news articles for example are formally edited by the Takagashirakai Multimedia Editor, blogs are not and remain the personal opinion of the author.

Windermere Dojo closed on 28th July

The Takagashira Dojo will be closed on the evening of Wed 28th July as both of it's instructors will be away on an aikido course. Training resumes as normal the following week on Wed 4th August.

We've now moved on from the Beach Leisure Centre, do NOT go there looking for us... you'll not find us.

I've updated our listings and website so that our new address is there.

New Dojo for Aberdeen Town Club

As of Thursday 1st of July the Town Club will be moving venue from the BLC to St. Stephen's church hall on Powis place.

Aberdeen City Dojo's venue to close

The Beach Leisure Centre will be closing in the not so distant future (see below). So, we need to find a new venue... keep your eyes and ears open and get in touch if you've got any suggestions for our new home. We have our own mats available, so that won't be a problem.

The most popular leisure centre in Aberdeen could be forced to close for six months after being hit with a �1.5million repair bill.

The Beach Leisure Centre, which attracts 260,000 visitors a year, needs
